Are you a complete beginner in drawing? Do you feel terrified of a blank page and a pencil in your hand? How in the world do people just, MAKE ART?

Join us for this complete beginner's class in drawing, focusing on the human form. From 17:00 we guide you through 1 hour of step-by-step instruction to help you feel less overwhelmed by the idea of capturing real life down on paper, while still giving you space to find your own expression in the medium. 

From 18:00- 20:00 we invite a live model to come who you can draw from, as well as open the class up for everyone who wants to come and get more mileage drawing. These are friendly faces who can give you even more tips about the journey into making art, what has worked for them, and how the tackle difficult drawing challenges. Afterwards, you are welcome to either leave or stay for the free critique of everyone's work!

This class is designed for absolute newbies - but can also be useful for those who would like a refresher on drawing basics if it's been awhile. No matter how good or bad you are, you are welcome!

All supplies are covered in this class - simple pencils and paper, but if you want to bring your own tools that you find interesting, you are more than welcome to bring them!
