This month we will be playing with pens! 

How does someone create an interesting image using JUST a black pen? What are the different kinds out there, and how can they be used? How do artists deal with not being able to erase?!

We will teach you through practical (ie: drawing) and analytical (ie: talking) exercises, in addition to a 30-minute lecture, so you will leave with a much better understanding of how to use this popular medium! (Which is, to be honest, my favorite medium!) But don't worry -this class is meant to be a fun evening with no pressure - but we will give out some "homework" for you to do the entire month so you can keep learning!

Each month at Blank Space we offer a special drawing workshop switching up between studying difficult skills and experimenting with playful exercises.

This month we offer one of our EXPERIMENT series classes - these classes are perfect for designers who JUST WANT TO PLAY, and need to let off some steam, learn a few cool tricks, or just have a safe space to try our a new technique to inspire future pieces. It is not encouraged to make anything that looks particularly good.

We offer this workshop both online AND in person concurrently - if you want to get that sweet hands on and social connection, then coming in person is best! But if you aren't in Oslo, or don't mind having a more passive experience, then come on down online. (Since you won't get as much "attention" with the online class, you get a hefty discount! The same knowledge, exercises, and community but c h e a p e r....!)
