Are you struggling while trying to make your drawings look better? Are you staring at a ugly sketch and wondering...WHAT WENT WRONG and HOW DO I FIX THIS?!

Well then this is the class for you! In this session, we talk about "Observational Drawing", which is simply put, being able to look at what is in front of you and analyze it to be represented 2-dimensionally while drawing. 

These skills are simple and basic, and as you improve will become less and less used - but in the beginning are INCREDIBLE tools to help you understand why your drawings arent looking like they should. 

We will have a live model sitting for us, and this lesson will include both lecture, demos, and drawing time for you to practice these skills. We will also have some "homework" for you to do throughout the month, and you can get feedback on those assignments the whole of January2022! (And, if you do them, you are entered into winning fun prizes! Win-Win, right?)

Each month at Blank Space we offer a special drawing workshop switching up between studying difficult skills and experimenting with playful exercises.

This month, we offer a STUDY session - where we take boring, but important, concepts and teach them in a fun setting! Not every lesson in art is exciting and filled with rainbows, but these lessons are still crucial to being able to get better at drawing :)

We offer this workshop both online AND in person concurrently - if you want to get that sweet hands on and social connection, then coming in person is best! But if you aren't in Oslo, or don't mind having a more passive experience, then come on down online. (Since you won't get as much "attention" with the online class, you get a hefty discount! The same knowledge, exercises, and community but c h e a p e r....!)
